The piece I’ve created is meant to emulate the immense stress, misconception of control, and overall trapped feeling that many individuals experience throughout their interactions with life. I created this piece to depict the struggles that many neurodivergent individuals face in being forced to confine to society’s norms. The piece depicts an individual struggling in a cramped glass box. This is meant to display how many neurodivergent people are forced to present themselves in a certain light even to the depths of being uncomfortable, changing who they are, and of course being restricted in how much of themselves they can truly show.
